Responsibilities

• Inspect railcars for damage, excessive wear, defects and safety concerns.
• Prepare railcars to meet quality requirements.
• Safely open, secure and close railcar end doors.
• Remove dirt and contaminants that could damage vehicles.
• Operate job-related tools and equipment.
• Identify repair needs for Road & Rail Services personnel.
• Report damage, defects, or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Maintain tools and equipment; keep work areas clean.
