Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in railcar repair/manufacturing.
• Ability to gain NDT VT Level II certification per industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, mechanical, and regulatory inspections of railcars and components.
• Document nonconformances and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inspection records and proper release documentation.
• Verify proper tagging, securing, and identification prior to interchange release.
• Interface with railroads, lessees, and inspectors to resolve findings.
