Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Railcar Repair Technician to perform repair and maintenance on tank cars. You will lead with safety in mind and work in a team to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to use hand tools. A valid driver’s license is required. We offer an hourly starting rate of $24.08 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
• Ability to use hand tools such as pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets.
• Must be able to perform basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work safely and follow proper procedures.

Responsibilities

• Railcar repair – follows current repair procedures and inspects cars for compliance.
• Customer support – meets customer expectations and requirements for satisfaction.
• Clerical – ensures invoicing, inspection, and work orders are complete.
