Job summary

Pinsly Railroad Company is seeking a Loading Technician to safely load and unload material from rail cars and into trucks, while following strict safety, environmental, and operational protocols to support terminal operations.

This role also supports shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks, including material handling, labeling, stacking, and organizing product. Hours are Mon-Fri 6 am to 2:30 pm, 40 hours per week, in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a terminal, industrial, or transportation environment preferred.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely load material into trucks and unload material from rail cars.
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operate pumps, and monitor product transfer processes.
• Inspect rail cars and trucks to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Follow terminal safety protocols including PPE requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-loading inspections to identify hazards.
• Report spills, leaks, or unsafe conditions and take corrective actions as needed.
• Complete loading/unloading records and maintain logs.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift as needed.
