Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 5–10 years in railroad transportation, operations or logistics.
  • Experience supervising seasoned technical professionals and coordinating cross-team work.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to produce actionable reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of regional field supervisors and other personnel to support car movements for maintenance and scrap plans.
  • Set priorities for direct reports and provide guidance on AAR rules and team processes.
  • Maintain relationships with corporate, railroads, and AAR to support department goals.
  • Learn duties of field supervisors and provide coverage during vacations or business.
  • Review and improve current team activity methodologies on a continuous basis.
  • Provide quarterly performance feedback to direct reports.
