Job summary

VASCOR Ltd is hiring Rail Loaders in Gardendale-Cotulla, TX to support daily yard operations by loading and unloading vehicles from railcars and securing them for transport. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on a 1st shift, with responsibilities including precise vehicle positioning, use of wheel chocks, and applying railcar seals. Training is provided, and weekly pay with comprehensive benefits accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles from railcars safely and efficiently.
• Identify vehicles designated for loading and move them to and from railcars.
• Properly position and secure vehicles inside railcars.
• Set vehicle hand brakes as required during loading and unloading operations.
• Install wheel chocks to prevent vehicle movement.
• Apply railcar door seals after loading is complete and doors are secured.
• Release railcar hand brakes as required by established procedures.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Identify and report quality concerns, potential vehicle damage, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production and customer requirements.
• Support rail loading operations with a production capacity of up to 24 railcars per week, operating five days per week.
• Work efficiently with the team to meet daily production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and vehicle damage prevention standards
