Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have valid TWIC card and driver's license.
• Follow OSHA safety standards at all times.
• 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Examine track lists to determine railcars to spot, load, or ship.
• Position on designated tracks to separate inbound/outbound railcars and ensure space.
• Spot inbound railcars for loading or discharge.
• Secure spotted railcars by applying brakes.
• Sort loaded vs preloaded railcars for shipment.
• Verify outbound railcars are properly connected and weighed.
• Ensure weight compliance with DOT limits on outbound loads.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
