Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in rail distribution operations or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related software.
• Background in Rail & Truck operations is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee operations at the Rail Yards assigned in Houston, supervising about 25 employees.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with regulatory and company rules.
• Oversee rail unloads, transfers and deliveries to maximize service and minimize costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve loading/unloading productivity and maintenance scheduling.
• Manage transportation management system data and cost reporting; assist with forecasting and budgeting.
