Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in rail distribution operations or similar.
• Background in Rail & Truck.
• JDE experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft products.
• Ability to travel during the day and overnight if needed.
• Able to physically perform the essential functions for this job.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven customer service skills and logistics focus, demonstrated capacity to develop relationships, resolve issues, and negotiate as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee operations at the Rail Yards assigned in Houston, managing ~25 staff.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Oversee all rail unloads, transfers and deliveries to maximize service and minimize cost.
• Improve rail loading/unloading productivity and maintenance on equipment.
• Lead and motivate staff; ensure inspections and housekeeping.
• Engage with logistics, sales, and accounting to support cost control and billing accuracy.
