R. J. Corman Railroad Company in Dayton, TX is seeking an experienced Manager of Yard Operations. You will manage yard operations, schedule and supervise personnel, and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient daily performance.

You may need to fill in for the Operations Manager and assist with switching crews. Track maintenance and mechanical knowledge are preferred requirements for this role.

Qualifications

• Prior railroad supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with safety rules and procedures.
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, efficient, and profitable general management of yard operations.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise personnel, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform duties of the switching crews when needed and cover Operations Manager in absence.
• Track maintenance experience and mechanical knowledge preferred.
