Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager - Rail Yard Facilities in Philadelphia to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex rail-infrastructure projects within active rail environments.

You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with owners and regulators, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while managing budgets and scope for critical facilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction management experience delivering complex transportation and rail projects.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams in active operating environments.
• Supervisory experience of at least 6–7 project staff including construction managers, resident engineers, inspectors, schedulers, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities for rail yard, maintenance facility, shop, and related infrastructure from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Act as primary field representative coordinating with owners, contractors, designers, utilities, railroad operations, and regulators.
• Monitor contractor performance for safety, quality, schedule, and cost; ensure compliance with contract requirements.
