Parsons in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Rail Yard Facilities to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of rail yard, maintenance facility, shop, and related infrastructure projects.

You will act as the primary field representative, coordinate with owners, contractors, designers, utilities, and regulators, monitor safety and quality, and drive schedules, costs, and turnover to successful project completion.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required with 15+ years of construction management experience delivering complex transportation projects.
• Experience managing rail yard, maintenance facility, or transit capital projects in active operating environments.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including 6-7 project staff such as managers, inspectors, schedulers, and controls personnel.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, change management, schedule analysis, and risk assessment.
• Ability to review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and resolve issues promptly.

Aufgaben

• Manage construction activities from pre-construction through turnover.
• Serve as the primary field representative coordinating with owners, contractors, designers, utilities, railroad operations personnel, and regulators.
• Monitor contractor safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contract compliance.
• Lead project meetings, field inspections, and issue-resolution efforts.
• Review schedules, recovery plans, phasing, work packages, and outage requests.
• Coordinate construction in active rail environments while minimizing disruption to railroad operations.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, contractor claims, and field directives for timely resolution.
• Prepare executive reports, construction updates, and risk assessments for stakeholders and leadership.
