Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Rail & Transit Technical Director to lead and grow our rail and transit teams on key project pursuits. You will provide strategic and technical leadership for multidisciplinary teams across offices and regions.

Responsibilities include developing client relationships, guiding proposals and staffing, and delivering rail systems projects with focus on scope, schedule, budget and safety. You will mentor rising leaders in the Rail Systems practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's preferred).
Registered Professional Engineer.
10+ years of related work experience.
5+ years in a managerial position.
Leadership in multidisciplinary rail and transit systems design.
Experience delivering rail systems design and delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead rail and transit teams on major pursuits with strategic and technical direction.
Develop relationships with transit agencies, operators, contractors and partners.
Provide senior leadership for pursuits, staffing, technical approaches and project delivery.
Oversee delivery of complex rail and transit projects including scope, schedule, budget and quality.
Mentor and develop emerging technical and project leaders within the Rail Systems practice.
