Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Technical Director to lead ATS/CBTC initiatives across North America for major transit agencies. You will oversee system upgrades, coordinate stakeholders and vendors, and ensure robust, safe operations through strong leadership and technical judgment.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive progress in high-visibility environments, and guide feasibility studies, CONOPS development, and delivery across complex rail projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical field.
• 20+ years of related work experience in rail/ATS/CBTC domains.
• 10+ years in software-based rail systems implementation.
• Strong communication and leadership in client-facing settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and teams across North America for large transit agencies.
• Oversee ATS/CBTC upgrades, evaluations, and vendor coordination.
