Job summary

The JPI Group in Westmont, IL seeks an experienced Utility & Infrastructure Project Manager to lead multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders while coordinating with clients and teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PM experience in utility or infrastructure sectors, with rail or transit exposure a plus. Proficiency in reading plans and Excel is essential; Amtrak/CTA/Metra experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in utility/infrastructure projects preferred.
• Rail or transit experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and installation drawings.
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent leadership and client management.

We’re seeking an experienced Utility & Infrastructure Project Manager to lead multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Ideal background:

• 5+ years of project management experience
• Utility, infrastructure, rail or transit experience preferred
• Amtrak, CTA, Metra, DOR, or MARC experience is a plus
• Strong contract administration, scheduling, budgeting, billing, and change order experience
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and installation drawings
• Strong estimating and labor factor analysis skills
• Advanced Excel/Microsoft Office skills
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and client relationship skills
