Job summary

Alstom in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Training Manager to design, implement, and continuously improve regulatory and client training programs for light rail operations. You will lead curricula, assessments, and quality initiatives while coordinating with operations, safety, and regulatory agencies.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with FTA/ADOT/OSHA, and alignment with contract requirements to ensure workforce readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of direct, relevant experience in a passenger railroad, rail transit, or public transit operating environment.
• Strong knowledge of passenger service delivery, FTA regulations, and APTA standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve regulatory and operational training programs for light rail and streetcar operations personnel.
• Design and maintain training curricula, lesson plans, examinations, and competency assessments.
• Ensure training programs comply with Federal Transit Administration, ADOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate multimedia, technology-based, and computer-assisted learning methods.
• Lead quality audits and oversee compliance with the Quality Program and QMS.
