Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Transportation Manager in Phoenix to oversee field operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused light rail transportation services. You will lead field supervisors, dispatchers, and transportation staff while maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and agency regulations.

This role reports to the General Manager and supports senior leadership with operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive experience managing operations or projects in light rail, commuter rail, or public transit.
• Three years in a related management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of light rail transportation for safe, reliable service.
• Direct and manage field operations including supervisors, dispatchers, and frontline staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and safety standards.
• Provide leadership during incidents, emergencies, and disruptions; coordinate staffing and resources.
• Prepare operational reports, summaries, and performance metrics for senior leadership.
