Job summary

RTD is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to develop and implement comprehensive rail operations training programs for light rail and commuter rail teams. You will design curricula, create multimedia content, and ensure material aligns with safety and regulatory standards.

You will evaluate training effectiveness, work with subject matter experts, and support instructors to deliver high-quality, scalable learning experiences across our operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of rail operations and maintenance and safety standards.
• Experience designing and delivering instructional materials for technical training.
• Proficient in learning management systems and instructional design software.
• Must hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement rail training programs for light rail and commuter rail operations.
• Create full courses and curricula, including multimedia elements and assessments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Support instructors and manage multiple curriculum projects with attention to detail.
