Job summary

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record in past 36 months without suspension or revocation for drug/alcohol incidents.
• Must not have any diversion/probation/plea related to drug/alcohol driving incidents.
• Must not have refused drug/alcohol testing.
• Must successfully complete an English assessment before interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely movement of freight as Train Crew.
• Progress within career path toward engine service opportunities.
• Inspect equipment, locomotives, and rail cars for safe operation.
• Perform tasks: coupling equipment, aligning drawbars, operating remote control locomotives, applying/releasing hand brakes, riding rail cars, and communicating with crews.
• Maintain accurate written and electronic documentation.
• Observe and comply with railroad safety and FRA regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
