Job summary

Olsson’s Rail Traffic team is seeking a Project Engineer to support traffic and preemption analysis and design. You will conduct site visits, review plans and studies, and work closely with teammates on complex projects for Class I railroads, state DOTs, and local agencies.

Expect direct client interaction, opportunities to develop both technical and project management skills, and occasional travel to job sites. Olsson supports flexible work arrangements and a positive community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Synchro, or similar software.

• Conduct site visits, contribute to the review and preparation of plans and/or studies, and collaborate with team members on complex projects.
