Olsson’s Rail Traffic team is seeking a Project Engineer to support traffic and preemption analysis, site visits, and plan reviews for projects with Class I railroads, state DOTs, and local agencies.

This role offers opportunities to grow in project delivery, client service, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams, with occasional travel to job sites. Join a team focused on safety and mobility nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Synchro, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and contribute to the review and preparation of plans and/or studies.
• Collaborate closely with team members on complex projects.
• Occasional travel to job sites for observation and client meetings.
