Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Rail Traffic team in Austin, TX. You will help with traffic and preemption analysis, reviews, and plan preparation while coordinating with team members and clients on challenging projects.

The role offers exposure to Class I railroads, state DOTs, and local agencies, with potential travel to job sites and client meetings. A Civil Engineering degree and 6+ years in this field are preferred, with CAD tools proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Synchro, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and contribute to the review and preparation of plans and studies.
• Collaborate closely with team members on complex projects.
