Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or TASC required.
• Reading comprehension ability and safety rules knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct train and equipment movement remotely within a defined territory.
• Provide protection to workers and restore tracks to service.
• Prepare and maintain records for train movements, track assignments, events.
• Monitor radio/phone/computer screens for movements and issues.
• Communicate routing and conditions clearly per protocol.
• Maintain familiarity with schedules, destinations, times.
• Coordinate track usage with Maintenance of Way.
• Prepare information reporting on delays and performance.
