Job summary

Siemens is seeking a late-shift assembly technician in Alpharetta to disassemble and reassemble traction motor units, clean parts, inspect to tight tolerances, and prepare assemblies including rotors, stators, seals, coils, and insulation. You will operate machinery, use the right tools, and capture accurate records in written and electronic formats.

The role supports 6S and process improvements in a non-climate-controlled workspace and requires flexibility for the 5:30pm–4:00am schedule after

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
• Experience operating machinery and using hand tools.
• Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled spaces and outdoors as needed.
• Strong attention to accuracy and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble motor units to spec.
• Inspect, clean, and adjust components to tolerance.
• Prepare assemblies including rotors, stators, seals, coils.
• Install bearings and test electrical and insulation systems.
• Maintain safe, organized workspace and record results.
• Support 6S and process improvements.
