Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license; CDL if required.
• Undergo safety training and pass FRA examinations.
• Able to work self-supervised and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace track components (ties, rails, bars).
• Correct deviations in track surface, alignment and gauge.
• Repair or adjust track switches with tools.
• Load/unload materials and equipment.
• Restore track after derailments.
• Manage right of way including vegetation control.
• Install/repair street crossings and drainage.
• Weld track sections and joints.
• Operate track tools and machines.
• Clear tracks of ice or snow.
