Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and visual instructions.

• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Comfortable at heights and in extreme weather.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites, including weekends and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain railroad tracks, embankments, and related infrastructure.
• Perform track construction and repair tasks such as replacing rail and ties.
• Operate manual tools and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections of track components for wear or safety concerns.
• Record work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Respond to after-hours callouts for emergency track repairs and derailment recovery.
