Job summary

Hardesty & Hanover seeks a Track Designer for our Philadelphia office to support the Passenger Rail & Transit Group. You will contribute to design efforts, prepare track design documents, and perform calculations to advance project goals.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering with zero to three years of experience; EIT is preferred and internship experience in structures or rail is a plus. We offer a professional environment, competitive salary, benefits, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Zero to three years of relevant experience.
  • EIT license preferred.
  • Internship experience in structures or rail preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to growth and capabilities of Passenger Rail & Transit Group.
  • Assist in preparing track design documents: plans, specifications, quantities and design calculations.
  • Complete track design calculations using commercial software.
  • Occasionally perform track inspection and field work.
