Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, is seeking a General Laborer to assist in unloading railcars and upkeep of rail terminal facilities in Florida. You will work with hand tools, lawn equipment, and safety procedures to keep the site clean and efficient.

Reliability, the ability to follow directions, and basic communication skills are essential. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with related construction or physical labor experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload railcars using shovels, brooms, and hand tools to maintain terminal site.
• Perform preventative maintenance on terminal equipment and machinery.
• Operate heavy equipment and company vehicles with proper training and certification as needed.
• Travel to other company facilities for coverage as required.
