Iron Horse Terminals in Beaumont, TX is hiring entry‑level Switchmen to learn rail operations with a starting pay of $18 per hour.

In a three‑person crew you’ll move railcars, climb and couple, and follow strict safety rules as you grow toward Conductor or Engineer roles.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with good endurance and strength.
• Routine-oriented with strict adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors in all weather with safety as priority.
• Walk up to 6 miles per shift.
• Climb railcars, couple/uncouple them.
• Follow safety protocols with no shortcuts.
• Communicate by radio and hand signals.
• Think strategically about train movements and puzzle out solutions.
