JOIN THE PSC FAMILY: Rail Switching Technician

Position: Rail Switching Technician

Location: Kansas City, MO

Summary: Join our Rail Switching Team at PSC Group! Work along the rail tracks, collaborating with train engineers to safely move railcars within our facility. This full-time role offers stability and a long-term career in a growing industry.

Work Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday (4:00 pm - 12:30 am)

Pay Range:

Starting at $23.00 per hour, experience may vary this rate

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Examine track list to identify, load, and assemble railcars for shipment
• Ensure railcars are properly connected and secured with brakes
• Separate loaded and preloaded railcars for shipment
• Weigh inbound and outbound loads to ensure weight compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided
• Valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card may be required depending on location
• Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass drug screening, physical, and background checks
• Military experience and ability to follow procedures are advantageous
