Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background in carpentry, masonry and welding or other applicable trades.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Adept at conveying information accurately and providing straightforward directions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect bridge maintenance for timber, concrete, and steel structures.
• Coordinate repair projects by planning tasks and organizing crews.
• Operate and assist with hoisting equipment, drills, rivet busters, chainsaws and cutting tools.
• Inspect, test, and repair bridge components such as rails, bolts, and ties.
• Carry out general upkeep and safety around structures and walkways.
• Record inspection findings and repair details in official reports.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required.
