Job summary

Expect to travel, be on-call including weekends, and complete required CDL within 111 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A license required within 111 days of hire.
• Preferred: Technical certification or AS degree in Electrical/Engineering.
• Minimum 1–2 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel 75% during training; dynamic after.

Responsibilities

• Perform FRA regulatory tests and inspections of signal systems.
• Install, repair and maintain signal lights, switch machines, and crossings.
• Test and inspect signal systems including cab signal and interlocking.
• Carry out cable locates, painting, and housekeeping of equipment.
• Climb and troubleshoot signal structures and make electrical connections.
• Conduct construction duties like digging, wiring, and laying cables.
• Travel and be on-call, including weekends.
