Job summary

Watco is seeking a Signal Maintainer in Bartlesville, OK. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and installing railroad signal and crossing systems as part of a mobile maintenance crew.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, follow safety procedures, and travel to various locations to ensure safe operation of signaling equipment. Qualifications

• Experience in railroad signal maintenance or related technical field.
• Ability to learn railroad signal rules, procedures, and technical requirements.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine corrective actions.
• Ability to read technical documents, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Mechanical aptitude and use of hand/power tools and testing equipment.
• Commitment to safety and reliability.
• Willingness to travel extensively with mobile maintenance crews.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install railroad signal and crossing systems.
• Work with electrical, mechanical, and electronic components in field conditions.
• Follow safety procedures, FRA requirements, and company standards.
• Travel to various locations as part of a mobile signal crew.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment; manage inventory at job sites.
• Assist with testing and verification of systems before service.
