Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of hire if not already held.
Preferred railroad experience or construction labor background.
Electrical/communication background preferred.
Mechanical comprehension and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

Oversees installation and repair of railroad signal and communication structures and components.
Supervise onboard crew; provide training, evaluations and investigations as needed.
Load/unload supplies, dig holes, and climb poles for signaling work.
Operate and maintain a range of hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
Be on-call and travel as required; promote Herzog’s safety culture.
