Job summary

Watco Transp Svc, LLC is seeking a Signal Foreman to lead a mobile maintenance crew responsible for signal and crossing systems at multiple railroad locations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to railroad rules and company procedures.

You will plan daily work, coordinate materials and crew needs, and ensure completion of tasks with strong technical guidance to crew members while maintaining equipment and work areas to high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in railroad signal maintenance; supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret signal plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with use of testing equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and coordinate daily activities of the Signal Peanut Gang.
• Plan work assignments and organize crew, tools, and resources to complete work.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, test, and install railroad signal systems and equipment.
• Maintain and repair grade crossing warning devices and related components.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic problems using testing equipment and documentation.
