The position requires a high school diploma or GED, eligibility to work in the U.S., and a ClassA CDL within 90 days of hire. Extensive travel during training and on-call duties are expected as part of the journey to advancement.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • ClassA CDL within 90 days of hire (training provided).
  • Must pass FRA drug and alcohol screening.
  • OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain signal systems critical to rail safety.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Operate hand tools, electrical testing instruments, and heavy equipment.
  • Perform FRA-required inspections and testing of signal systems and grade crossings.
  • Respond to on-call assignments, including nights and weekends.
  • Support training program completions and bid on available positions.
