Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. is seeking a Production Supervisor - Rolling & Finishing Operations for our Pueblo, Colorado facility.

This role leads a skilled workforce in the production, rolling, processing, and finishing of steel products while ensuring safe, efficient and quality-driven operations. The supervisor collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Safety teams to meet production goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Three years of steel manufacturing experience.
• Front-line supervisory or team leader experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead rail rolling and finishing operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Conduct shift safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Utilize LEAN tools to improve safety, quality, productivity, yield and throughput.
• Supervise, coach, train and develop employees for safe, high-quality results.
• Monitor daily production performance and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality and Engineering to troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and heat traceability documentation.
• Schedule and manage workforce assignments for production needs.
• Maintain labor relations records, including IARs and grievances.
• Maintain KRONOS timecards daily with accurate production records.
