Job summary

A public transit authority in the United States is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee civil engineering projects within their Design and Construction Team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulations, manage contracts, and collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes. Responsibilities include interpreting technical information, preparing reports, and conducting quality assurance checks. A degree in Engineering or Architecture and relevant experience is required. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• Four years of non-registered Professional Civil Engineering or Architectural experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees contract management and verifies work is in accordance with contract.
• Interprets technical information and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Prepares reports and communications for assigned projects.
• Collaborates with internal and external agencies to meet project requirements.
• Prioritizes mapping tasks for project schedules.
• Analyzes technical difficulties and recommends solutions.
• Performs quality assurance/quality control for projects.
