Job summary

Siemens in Munhall, PA is seeking a hands-on assembler to build rail communications PCB subassemblies. You will select and place components, perform through-hole soldering, and complete SMT work within an ESD-safe environment, interfacing with Quality to ensure workmanship.

The role supports kaizen and 5S on a busy production floor. You will report to a Production Supervisor or Team Leader and contribute to safety, quality, and output.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Basic soldering proficiency and comfort with computers.
• Fluent math and practical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assemble rail communications PCB subassemblies from prints and BOMs.
• Handle components in an ESD-safe environment and perform soldering.
• Execute SMT and through-hole work; use hand/power tools safely.
• Collaborate with Quality to meet workmanship standards.
• Maintain 5S, support kaizen, and assist other teams as needed.
