King County Metro Transit's Rail Division is seeking a Rail Operations Support System Coordinator to help plan, develop, and maintain systems and procedures that support daily operations and payroll data accuracy. Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of the ATU Local 587 Labor Agreement affecting Rail Operations.
• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and inform actions.
• Knowledge of automated information systems and HASTUS; troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to communicate technical transport information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work with a diverse group and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Rail Operator picks using automated systems.
• Validate payroll transfers and coordinate base assignments.
• Manage Rail Supervisor assignments including relief picks.
• Develop and test methods to improve automated systems and releases.
• Troubleshoot system problems and coordinate with technical staff.
• Represent Rail Operations on special projects and negotiate procedures.
• Resolve time-sensitive payroll and HASTUS issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
