Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an intern to support the ROMP team in Rail Operations Modeling and Planning. You will help with data-based planning studies, assist engineers, and contribute to the development of rail and transit project analyses.

Based in Boston or Chicago, the internship offers exposure to large-scale rail projects and collaboration with experienced professionals in a dynamic, owner-employee environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles such as geometry and algebra.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to organize information.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with project tasks and documentation.
• Support development of planning studies from an operations perspective.
• Contribute to preparation of drawings and project deliverables.
