Job summary

HNTB's ROMP internship offers hands-on experience in rail operations planning and analysis, supporting passenger, freight, and light rail projects. You will learn to develop planning studies from an operations/data perspective, under guidance from a team of rail professionals.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma/GED or equivalent and be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Demonstrates basic engineering concepts and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn rail engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with tasks and duties.
• Support research, development and design of projects.
• Assist in preparation of engineering drawings and documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
