Watco Transloading is hiring to supervise and coordinate train crews in switching railroad cars within rail yards and related sites. You will facilitate loading/unloading, coordinating cars for customers, and ensuring safe operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires supervising crews, safe instruction on switching orders, and use of reports to communicate changes. You will train staff on regulations and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Formación

• Must pass and/or obtain locomotive engineer and conductor certifications.
• Experience supervising train crews in rail yard or switching environments.
• Ability to train switch crews and other personnel on job duties and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and coordinates train crews.
• Communicates switching orders focusing on safety and efficiency.
• Utilizes reports to organize customer changes to cars.
• Ensures daily train lists are executed accurately by crews.
• Investigates incidents and provides accurate reports.
• Understands cost and profitability factors for the location.
• Complies with FRA regulations and safety manuals.
