Drummac, Inc. is seeking a Rail Supervisor to lead the assigned site operations and ensure the contracted scope is followed in alignment with company values and quality of performance.

You will provide technical support, coordinate weekly schedules, enforce safety rules, and train staff while maintaining strong client interaction. Occasional travel and overtime may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of transportation industry work experience with at least 1 year at the supervisor level.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Requires 49 CFR 238, 229, 218, and 236 qualifications; training will be provided.
• Strong communication, analytical, and persuasive skills and ability to interact with clients, employees, and leadership.
• Must be able to multi-task and have supervisory, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitors and leads the operations of the assigned site to ensure the contracted scope of work is followed.
• Provides technical support to employees; ensure compliance with policies, safety rules, and FRA/AR/DT regulations.
• Coordinates, creates, and publishes weekly schedules for the team aligned with the budget.
• Monitors operations to ensure staff comply with safety rules.
• Promotes safe work activities by conducting safety audits and setting expectations for safe practices.
• Supervises employee performance and coaches each team member for success.
• Leads new hire training, policy and procedure compliance, and disciplinary counseling.
• Trains staff in proper procedures for all work tasks.
• Processes timecards, maintains vacation schedules, and manages training.
• Requires interaction with management and the client.
• Travel periodically as needed (typically up to 25%).
• Other duties as assigned.
