Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in Rail Logistics with 3+ years managing employees.
  • Proficient in technical writing and clear communication.
  • System savvy; ERP or Rail TMS experience preferred.
  • Able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train the railcar coordinators team.
  • Monitor workload and ensure daily tasks are completed.
  • Escalate issues to stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide reporting and metrics on service levels and improvements.
  • Understand railcar operations to address client issues to resolution.
  • Use cloud-based tracking to monitor railcars and update stakeholders.
  • Communicate with railroads to troubleshoot and log issues.
  • Ensure railcars move along correct routes and destinations on time.
