The role involves loading and switching railcars, with on-the-job training and potential site-specific requirements. Tasks include inspecting equipment, connecting hoses, weighing railcars, and ensuring proper paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; paid on-the-job training available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass medical exams as required.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required.
• Previous military experience and following procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loader duties: inspect railcar, connect/disconnect loading arm hose, inspect for leaks, weigh railcars, complete paperwork.
• Rail switching duties: plan railcar moves, operate trackmobile/locomotive as needed, coordinate with rail team and customers.
• Perform any other duties required to complete the job.
