PSC Group is hiring a full-time Loader – Switching Technician in Baytown, TX. The role involves inspecting railcars, connecting hoses, weighing cars, and ensuring safe transfer of product.

It also covers planning railcar movements, operating track equipment, and coordinating with team members and customers. On-the-job training is provided, with emphasis on safety and procedures, and candidates must pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License or TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• On-site attendance and punctuality required.
• Previous military experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Clean and visually inspect railcar before transfer.
• Connect or disconnect loading arm hose for transfer of product.
• Inspect for leaks, weigh railcars, and complete required paperwork.
• Plan railcars to be spotted, separated, loaded, and built for shipment.
• Operate trackmobile or locomotive to safely move railcars in the plant.
• Communicate with rail team members, leadership, and customer contacts.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
