Job summary

Mid-Florida Heating & Air is seeking a customer-centric Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across residential and commercial sites in Central Florida. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of air conditioning experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform warranty services and emergency repairs while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• HVAC experience: 3–5 years.
• Experience with equipment tune ups / CTUs.
• Lead setting experience.
• Ability to complete a service diagnosis and repairs.
• 5+ years in HVAC industry or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to homes and businesses daily as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems in the AC and perform diagnostic repairs.
• Inspect HVAC systems for efficiency and safety.
• Renew and sell maintenance contracts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and discuss all solutions.
• Diagnose system issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Maintain inventory of tools and HVAC parts.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
