Sperry Rail, Inc. is recruiting a Certified Trainee/Apprentice for a field-based role requiring long travel across eastern or western U.S. You will receive paid training at Sperry School of Rail Flaw Detection, progress to operate testing platforms, and potentially lead a crew.

Upon certification, you’ll perform ultrasonic testing in the Rail Flaw Detection field and join a global leader in rail diagnostics with ongoing development and travel opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Attend and complete training at Sperry School of Rail Flaw Detection
• Learn rail detection methods across Short Line and Class I railways
• Achieve certification in ultrasonic testing and apply in the field
• Work as part of a crew and develop leadership skills
• Gain knowledge of Sperry’s diagnostic technologies and interfaces
• Develop mechanical aptitude and basic repairs
• Adhere to railroad operating procedures and safety protocols
• Apply classroom and field training during extended travel (3–4 months)
