Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services, Inc. (GRSI) in Palmer, MA is seeking a Field Operations Manager (Full-Time) to oversee maintenance and construction on fixed Genesee & Wyoming properties.

The role requires extensive railroad engineering experience and leadership to enforce safety and engineering policies. Responsibilities include overseeing track and infrastructure, supporting roadmasters, planning capital projects, and coordinating with federal and local agencies.

Qualificações

• Fifteen years of railroad engineering experience (combined field and management positions).
• Willingness to travel up to 50 percent.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee maintenance and construction on Genesee & Wyoming fixed properties including right of way, track, structures, buildings, and signal and communication systems.
• Provide support for roadmasters and maintenance planning; develop annual capital plans.
• Ensure safety performance and enforce policies governing engineering and safety.
• Interact with federal, state, and local agencies; travel as needed to support properties.
